ABOUT WILD CHILD yoga
WILD CHILD yoga is my vision of everything I want and need in my yoga practice as well as my daily life to be. Through the practice of yoga you begin to look deeper inside as you peel away all the protective layers you have built up over the years.
As children we all had that playful sense of curiosity and freedom. The ability to see the innocence and true heart of others and to allow others to see that in YOU…..my heart has never let go of that playful spirited little girl, although it was not a vision of myself that was often given permission to shine.
Through the years of my yoga practice I have been able to give that inner spirit wings to fly as well as a strong foundation to be rooted and grounded. I look forward to working with you as you begin to find your WILD CHILD.
If you read the about WILD CHILD yoga section above, you know that I believe strongly in the importance of finding and living as your true self.
Over the years I have found that teaching yoga not only speaks to my inner child but allows me to help others capture that same freedom and bliss. As a certified E500 RYT with yoga alliance, and in hold additional certifications in Yoga 4 Cancer, Kidding Around Yoga, Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra. I have the opportunity to work with adults and children! In 2010, I was diagnosed with a connective tissue auto immune disease, Scleroderma. Yoga and meditation has not only helped me to cope with the many difficulties of living with this condition as well as to help others who suffer from chronic health issues.
I moved to Roswell in May 2016 from my home town of New York City where I was fortunate studied with some of the top yoga instructors from around the world. Additionally, I have spent a lot of time studying the many benefits of essential oils and love to incorporate them in my yoga classes as well as offer special workshops featuring different herbs.
I'm excited to offer regular group classes and substitute teach at area yoga studios. Keep an eye on the studio schedules for weekly updates:
